To request an inspection
1. Go to ci.oceanside.ca.us and click on Online Permit/eTRAKiT.
2. Under “Permits”, select “Search Permit”
3. Search your permit by entering your permit number (example: BLDG25-1234) and select your permit from the list.
4. Click on “Request Inspections” above the tabs.
Note: requests received before 3:30 PM may be scheduled as early as the following business day.
To view your inspection time
Scheduled times are available after 8:15 AM, on the requested inspection day.
1. Go to ci.oceanside.ca.us and click on Online Permit/eTRAKiT.
2. Under “Inspections” select “Scheduled”
3. Scroll through the table to find your address or permit number. The time listed is the beginning of the 2-hour window for inspection.
