Hi,
New update: Randy and I reviewed the building plans, and it appears the entrance will be on S Freeman St. Since this portion of the building is still addressed as 1722 S Coast Hwy, will an address assignment be required to update it to an S Freeman St address? I’m assuming Planning will need to answer this question, but I wanted to loop in Building since I’ve been emailing y’all.

Hello,
I believe the correct address for BLDG26-0099 is 1722 S Coast Hwy Ste B1.2 as there doesn’t appear to be an entrance to this suite from S Freeman.
According to GIS, the yellow highlighted area (see below) is considered 1722 S Coast Hwy, while the green area is 1715 S Freeman St. Based on my understanding, the scope of this project falls under the yellow highlighted area.
Unless there’s an address assignment I’m unaware of, could you please confirm the correct project address?
I received a fire protection plan that lists the project address of 1715 S Freeman St. If the correct address is 1722 S Coast Hwy, I will need to notify the contractor to update the plans accordingly.

For all first submittals, there is a turnaround time of 15 business days. The expected due date of your review is 7/27/2026. We do not expedite plan reviews.
Please note that a City of Oceanside business license is required for any company who is or will be conducting work within Oceanside. Please contact 760-435-3878 to obtain a license. If you believe you received this message in error and you currently have an active business license, please provide me with the business license number.
Plans will not be released until you have an active license. I suggest you get this started as soon as possible to not cause any delays in the permitting process.
